Fall in love with dance, music, theatre, and spoken word presented and performed by a rich and diverse group of artists at ModArts Dance Collective’s (MADC) Free for Fall Arts Festival on Saturday, October 20, 2018 1-3 PM at Richard Rodgers Amphitheater inside of Marcus Garvey Park. The purpose of the Free for Fall Arts Festival is to provide an accessible event for Upper Manhattan residents to experience dance, theatre, spoken word, and live music in their community. The goal of the Free For Fall Arts Festival is to create more spaces for POC artists to utilize their artistic discipline in an effort to generate a dialogue with and between audience members, and build a stronger bond among Upper Manhattan inhabitants.

Artists of the African, Latina/o/x, Asian, Arab, and Native American (ALAANA) community based in one of the five boroughs and NJ are encouraged to apply up to 10 minutes of work in dance, music, theatre, and spoken word here. There is no application fee and no production fee. Submission call is open now until EOD on Monday, October 8. Ten to fifteen artists will be notified by EOD on Wednesday, October 10  and will be asked to confirm participation by EOD on Friday, October 12.
