MADC looks to engage and strengthen the artistic conversations within the often-overlooked communities of Manhattanville, Hamilton Heights, & Morningside Heights (Manhattan); South Bronx; Crown Heights, Brownsville, & Flatbush (Brooklyn); and Jamaica (Queens). These aforementioned neighborhoods need more accessible opportunities to see art who truly represent them, their stories, their history, and their culture through their unique and rich movement aesthetics.
